in preparation for their first major climb (on mt.isarog), ace york planned this climb and tag along his friend, michellet. october 24, we were blessed of a good weather condition because lately thypoons visit philippines on a weekly basis. we got a chance to visit this wonderful place again. I almost forgot the trail so we secure a service of a guide. "super erwin", our 10 year old boy-guide lead us all the way. i really liked this kid and he even run on the steepest part of the trail.

although it was only a day hike, i really enjoyed the whole climb. on the way to the summit (station 10), we took the old trail. had our lunch on station 7 and did the summit assault afterwards. this part of the climb was really i like the most. you literally have to crawl on this steep parts of this trail. this will test your knees and your stamina. the view on the summit was so wonderful and rewarding. going down, we took the new trail. and reward ourselves with hot and delicious bulalo at leslies in tagaytay. wow! what a wonderful way to end an exciting climb.
