the smiling sky

Last night, I witnessed a strange but spectacular cosmic phenomenon. The early evening sky (around 7 - 8pm) seems to be smiling for everyone. The delightful sight was produced by the planetary conjunction between the brighter venus and jupiter (the two eyes) and below them was the crescent moon (lips), forming a smiling face. Some like of the thumb tribe's famous emoticon : ) , just only twist it by 90 degrees. I'm on my computer and playing my undying RPG games (hehe!), when I overheard it on the news. "I got to see this...", that's the first thing that comes on my mind. So I immediately turn off my PC and run outside to see it. I was amazed when I saw it. Thanks to our town's rural skyline that is away from Manila's bright lights, we can see it clearly. I even climb on a wall to get a perfect view. Some kids on our neighborhood even got their binoculars to see it more clearly. Everyone was happy watching the sky, smiling for us, like it was saying that we should always smile and everything is gonna be alright, especially during this hard times.
