- last may 16-17, we climbed Manabu Peak (one of the three highest peak of malipunyo mountain range) on Sto.Tomas, Batangas. the climb was great, we (brian, jhei, kit, daweng and ace) had a great time on the whole climb. except that we only had a few mililiters of alcohol on our side which only tickles our "bahay-alak", haha! sorry guys, bitin! the 360 degrees view on Manabu was great, you can see Mt.Maculot as if it was guarding the whole town, Mt.Makiling on your north and Mt.Banahaw on your east. on our descent, we also passed by Mang Pirying's hut (on station 5 I think) and he offer us some cups of coffee. astig! coffee break along the trail. pampagising! (we use a different trail on our descent). to sum it up, the whole climb was fun. so my fellow "packers", what's next after anawangin cove? mt.maculot, mt.gulugod-baboy or mt.daguldol? hehe!
